トーマスです、よろしくお願いします。

昨日から本校に勤務したトーマス先生の自己紹介です。

Good morning, I am happy to meet you all.
My name is Thomas Lord. I am from Dunedin, New Zealand. It is winter in New Zealand and it is very cold. Snowboarding and skiing are very popular at this time of year.
I went to Otago Boys High School which is famous for rugby. This year Otago Boys had five athletes in the Olympics. One of them won a gold medal in rowing.
I graduated last year from Otago Polytechnic with a degree in Art History and Photography. I look forward to experiencing the delights of Japanese art that might not be available in New Zealand.
This is my first time in Japan and it is a very beautiful place, especially Yamanashi being surrounded by mountains.
In New Zealand I like to go hiking in the mountains. Hopefully I will do the same in Yamanashi also.
I like to play basketball and soccer. My favorite team is Manchester United. I look forward to supporting Kyonan teams during the year.
My favorite kind of music is reggae. It is very popular in New Zealand with many reggae bands and festivals.
I would like to thanks Kyonan High School for their hospitality and helping me settle into my new job and life in Japan.
